About Me

Hi, I’m Ala. Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There’s a photograph of me reaching for a camera at just three years old. A small moment that feels symbolic of a lifelong curiosity about the way we see the world.

I’ve always been drawn to the details others might overlook: the way light falls across a landscape, the movement of a shadow, the texture of a flower, or the unexpected beauty of an ordinary object. For me, photography begins with the eye; the instinct to notice something and recognize the photograph within it. That way of seeing is at the heart of HOLD Visuals.

Beyond my creative work, I have a master’s degree in accounting and finance, earned with honors, and I bring more than eight years of executive-level experience in business management and operations. My background spans financial strategy, technology, systems development, and process design, shaping the analytical perspective I bring to every project.

HOLD Visuals brings these two worlds together: art and strategy, vision and structure, creativity and systems. My fine art photography explores the beauty of the world around us, while my commercial photography helps businesses communicate their identity and connect with their audiences through thoughtful imagery.

Outside of photography, I love spending time with my two daughters, paddleboarding, walking, creating abstract paintings, learning, exploring tarot and inner reflection, and sharing meaningful moments with friends. At the heart of it all is a curiosity about the world, an appreciation for its details, and a desire to see things a little differently.
